Simon Lemerle

Simon Lemerle is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree on robotics in the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, at the research center E. Piaggio. He is also an affiliated researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology, Genoa, Italy, within the Soft Robotics for Human Cooperation and Rehabilitation research line.

He received the B.Sc in Engineering degree in 2014 and the Engineer's degree in 2017 from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, Lyon, France. He also received the M.E degree in integrated design engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, in 2017.

His research interests include the design and control of soft robotic mechanisms for upperlimb prosthetic devices.
