Elisa Batoni

Elisa Batoni is a PhD student at the Research Center “E. Piaggio” and the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa (Italy). She received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

Her research focuses on the investigation and optimization of bioprinting techniques for the fabrication of multiscale and multimaterial scaffolds for tissue engineering applications. She is working on the GIOTTO project (Active aGeIng and Osteoporosis: The next challenge for smarT nanobiOmaterials and 3D technologies), which aims to find new solutions for the healing of osteoporotic bone fractures.
