Understanding human trust in robots has become essential as intelligent machines are spreading all around us in a variety of applications and contexts.

To do so, our Centro’s Team ( headed by Professor Enzo Pasquale Scilingo, along   Lorenzo Cominelli, Mimma Nardelli, Alberto Greco Roberto Garofalo) adapts the well-known economic trust-game proposed by Charness and Dufwenberg (2006) to assess whether receiving a promise from a robot increases human-trust in it, finding out that receiving a promise from the robot increases the trust of the human in it.
